GOD'S FAITH

Scripture Reading - Mark 11:22-24

22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. KJV

These scriptures spoken by Jesus Christ are connecting personal speaking to prayer. In verse 23 we learn for the Christian to have an effective prayer life you must first believe what you say will come to pass. Therefore when considering your desires it is crucial that you consistently say the same thing. The authority to speak God’s most powerful word is given to every Believer through the grace and knowledge of God. Once you have faith (confidence) in the power of your spoken words being as powerful as God’s Word spoken by Jesus you are ready to pray. We know this sounds pretty amazing and for that reason the Lord cautions us not to doubt this teaching because it is truth. God can bring to pass your words if, and only if, you have the “faith of God” to speak them. This fact (truth) of God must be accepted in the Christian’s heart before they consider using the prayer of faith. This speaking of God’s Word is not hard or complicated but it does require child like faith that doesn’t question the reality of Jesus teaching. This is why it is important to never pray for things you are not sure about because that doubt will steal your confidence in God, which neutralizes your faith. If your faith is fighting your doubt the net result will make your prayer ineffective. Pray boldly in faith with confidence by using God’s Word as the absolute truth for your personal life. The proper attitude of confidence will expel all doubt to keep your faith strong until you see in the natural your desired result. When you have spoken consistently that you believe you received God’s promise you are walking by faith in the Name of Jesus. As Christians we can rest assured that when we are faithful to do our part of believing and speaking, God is faithful to do His part of confirming and manifesting to bring glory to His Name. Amen!
